I got to know from some eBay Malaysia Sellers that fees have been imposed on some other features that were free to use until recently. While eBay Malaysia is actually having a listing sale by giving a discount on some features and even free gallery picture until further notice (if there is one), they have quietly billed us without prior notice.
Of course, it could be argued that as Sellers, or basically users of any website, it is our responsibility to check for changes but I am adamant in saying that all users should be informed in advance prior to having changes implemented, especially something as important as policy changes and fees.
Also, like what PayPal is doing, any change in policy should be mentioned point by point, comparing the old one with new policies, and if possible, outlining why this new change is necessary and the impact it will have on users.
After going through this twice, it's beginning to feel like we need to read through the forum for changes first before listing an item on eBay Malaysia. LOL

looks like the changes are not limited to ebay.com only. keep posting the updates. it will surely be useful for us.
Hi Jennyhow,
The fees may be low per feature but it all adds up. Also, eBay Malaysia has low traffic so some of the fees are not justified yet.
hey CPG i was blog hopping by and i was wondering if i can get your opinion on something as an online trader http://blog.socialtalkr.com/flogd-bloggers-can-open-shop/
Let me know what you think of flogd is it too maafan for a real trader to use? etc etc. Can reach me anytime in my abouts page, its directly linked to my MSN. let me know your thoughts ya!
Hello,
Thank you for contacting me via my blog.
I have read about Flogd before but have not explored it. I have not signed up so I cannot provide much feedback but having a storefront on one's blog is nothing new.
Mah fan or not, if there's money to be made, by all means use it. However, you will need a seriously high trafficked blog to have any hopes of selling your items to people other than your own circle of family and friends, if you know what I mean.
Also, judging from the shopping cart widget, it looks too large (unless you could customize it) to be placed on the sidebar, so instead of having it buried in the back pages of your blog, you will have to create a separate Page. Having said so, a page will inevitably receive less eyeballs than a widget on your homepage.
With this in mind, I would suggest that you check out the PayPal Storefront widget. I have not checked out the fees that one needs to pay. Flogd may be free but you will still need to pay PayPal fees depending on the type of account you hold.
I hope that my reply answers your question.
Best regards,
Emily
