The other day, I received an invitation to complete a survey from a leading survey company. I clicked on the survey link as soon as the invitation hit my inbox since I was already sitting at the computer.
To my surprise, I was not allowed to proceed with the survey and the reason given was that I have already filled my quota. I can understand that if I was denied participation in the survey if they already have enough participants, perhaps I was late or something even if I did click the link as soon as it arrived.
Anyway, what surprised me was that the message said that I have filled my quota. Granted, I did complete a survey the day before but I had no idea that each member has a fixed maximum number of surveys that he/she could complete, or a fixed maximum amount of money or points to earn per month.
It would have been better, if that is the case, to isolate all of us who already have been assigned and completed that magical number of surveys or have already earned maximum points or payment, from the general mailing list so that we do not get a dud invitation, don't you think so?
