Undermining The Intelligence Of Buyers

Recently, a buyer in Lelong sold a refurbished item and passed it off as brand new. Of course, he was found out and reported to the administrators and got himself suspended. I think that this Buyer is pretty stupid to do so and risk his online business in Lelong. I do not know if this is a permanent ban or a limited suspension.

No matter what, sometimes I could not understand why Sellers do what they do. Buyers are not stupid. To make a purchase over the internet like on eBay or Lelong, these Buyers have already done extensive research and only buy online mainly because of a cheaper price. A refurbished unit will show tell tale signs which would be easily determined by the Buyer.

I am sure that a member, if he has been suspended and yet want to continue to trade on Lelong, would surely be able to continue trading on Lelong, perhaps using another person’s ID or something but I feel that in the first place, to do so is utterly wrong, undermining the intelligence of Buyers and giving all Sellers a bad name.
