Kicking Chinese Off eBay Malaysia

A fellow eBay Malaysia member has called for the eradication of eBay Malaysia registrants from outside of Malaysia, particularly those from China. I think this is an absolutely lovely idea but there is no support from eBay. Even though many people, Malaysian members or otherwise, have already been cheated by these Chinese Sellers (among other Sellers from high risk countries), eBay decides that action be only taken when a fraud has occurred.

While I know that it is not right to hit a boat of people with one stick, I think that it would provide a better trading environment for all local members if there are no external forces from China and other countries like Romania.

Each time I read about the stories of how people have lost money and such, even though some people who say that they are stupid or greedy for cheap products, at the back of my mind, I know that they have said goodbye to their money already and that their losses are totally avoidable.

The title of this post may be a little controversial but the main point that I would like to drive home is that eBay should only open our marketplace to Malaysians who are here or residing overseas and not to members from China or any other high trading risk countries.
