As I mentioned in previous posts, I have many friends who are contemplating setting up their own online business. Well, sad to say, these have been just ideas and so far, none have taken the first step. Over Christmas lunch a couple of days ago, we were discussing the best way to set up an online business. These friends, who all have their own careers, say that they do not mind forking out a little more capital but they are not willing to spend as much time as I did setting up the online store or even too much time running it.
I told them that they should explore dollar store franchise opportunities. I have no personal experience in this but I have seen how successful some of these online dollar stores are. Sales look pretty encouraging as well judging from the items that are sold off quickly.
If you would like a quick and surefire way of owning your own online business, me thinks this is a good way to go. It may not be everyone's cup of tea, though.
