If you trade on eBay, I am sure you will know how unfair their DSR is. Most Sellers are rated low when am item is slow to be delivered due to a delay on the side of the shipper, or if an item is custom taxed. These are no fault of the buyer but sellers could be very unreasonable.
Now, the change on feedback policy that eBay is willing to make is that they will be removing negative and even neutral feedback that reference custom tax. Even so, sellers who are in cross border trade must always mention that the final auction price does not include any country's custom tax and it is the sole responsible of the buyer.
I think this is a positive move. It's rather paradoxical that when a seller is rated lowly which pulls down his/her overall DSR, eBay will suspend this account and the seller would not be able to list an auction. How then does eBay expect this seller to improve on the DSR?
