eBay To Handle Dispute Resolution

In an earlier post, I posted on eBay's announcement on some policy changes and one of the most drastic is the way buyers are able to make a dispute against the seller and if the claim is found to be in favour of the buyer, eBay will dip into the funds of the seller to reimburse the buyer without having to wait for the seller to do so. eBay has clarified that they will be handling dispute resolution and not PayPal.

Also, eBay's new Purchase Protection Policy and Seller Updates mean that if we are to continue to trade on eBay, we are deemed to be automatically agreeable to such terms of use. And if we are not agreeable to these new terms, we are supposed to terminate our account.

Wow, it looks like eBay could do with some of their members. It's like "take it or leave", that's the new policy and we have to swallow it. I am thinking that it is no longer safe to sell big priced items. Cheap ones are still fine. What do you think?
