If you have been shopping at Amazon, you would have seen adverts for Kindle, the handheld portable reading device. Amazon recently came out with Kindle DX, a larger version of Kindle targeted at school going children with the hopes that it will eventually replace school text books. Imagine that! Don't you wish to be back at school again? Blogger Rob Cockerham, who blogs at Cockeyed.com (notice the surname), has this brilliant idea of carving a wooden Kindle, which he has named Kindling and has put it up for auction on eBay.
At this point of writing, the Kindling has already attracted 17 bids with the highest at US$77.66, a pretty good fetch, if you ask me and way cheaper than Kindle. This would make a great gift for someone who has been hankering for a Kindle but is thinking twice because of its price.
