Keeping track of changes on eBay seems like a full time job now. This new change will affect private sellers on eBay UK and eBay IE with effect from June 2010 where they will be limited to 100 free auction-style listings per month only for items listed with starting price of 99p/99c or lower.
Within this week, though, sellers with feedback score of less than 25 will be limited to 100 free auction-style listing. Sellers with exceptionally high volume will also be reviewed by Customer Support and may be required to upgrade to Business Seller status or blocked from selling on eBay UK and eBay IE entirely.
This will probably be welcomed by both quality sellers and genuine buyers alike. However, there is still a loophole that many sellers could take advantage of, though I will not mention them here.
