MOL AccessPortal Berhad (MOL), a Malaysian company that's making waves as the leader in payment systems in Asia, and PayPal Asia Pacific have formed a strategic partnership in offering a co-branded prepaid card for the convenience of users in Malaysia, especially for people who do not have a credit card or do not feel comfortable using one online.
This prepaid card is sold at all 7-Eleven outlets in Malaysia at RM15 each and could be funded at physical outlets or through online banking. Malaysians using the Digital Card will be able to shop online conveniently or to reload their MOL points to purchase online game products and services; game coins come into mind.
While I think that it's a good step forward for Malaysians, like I said, especially for people who do not own a credit card, for me, it is just another avenue to spend so, no, I don't need this at the moment. LOL
