A neighborhood beautician was recommended to me by my mother. My mother said that she wants to support her because she knows the mother. Chinese people are like that. So I visited her shop once and found out that she has a qualification in cosmetology from a school that I never even heard about and it's supposed to be in our city!
I asked her if she has plans to further her course but she said that she is in the midst of saving up money for it. It would be best if she could enroll in a school like Jacksonville Cosmetology School as with a recognized qualification, it would open up more windows of opportunities for her.
It's not that I look down on local institutions but I think that she isn't making the most of her potential, and that's a pity, isn't it?
