I just received news that Air Asia is running a promotion in conjunction with Malaysia Day which falls on 16th September to mark the day when East Malaysian states are included in the Federation of Malayan states and then the country is known as Malaysia.
This promotion, which starts from now until 19th September, 2010, will see all Air Asia seats enjoying 20% discount. Travel period will be from 20th Sept to 15th Nov, 2010. I think that this promotion is really not bad.
Although 20% discount is not as cheap as Air Asia seats could sometimes go, at least it is a lot cheaper for people who would like to travel almost instantly. You know, usually the cheap tickets could only be bought way in advance and it is so difficult to plan a trip like that.
Air Asia may have had its share of negative feedback but let's admit it. Because of their no-frills concept and the competition they give to other airlines, air travel is now a lot more affordable!
