My sister told me that she would like to buy some cute accessories after her trip from New York. These accessories are imported from Japan and it's not cheap. I am trying to dissuade her that those stuff are "useless". I had a shock to read that the annual sales of Hello Kitty, a Japanese cartoon character, is USD1 billion! Why must my sister add to it? LOL
Wouldn't it be more practical to buy a gold coin with the money? Of course a gold coin would be more expensive than Hello Kitty merchandise but one has to start somewhere, right? From what I read on the website of United States Gold Bureau, there is still plenty of upside potential for gold so it really make economic sense to invest in gold bullion, and for those like us without much capital, a gold coin, one at a time.
