According to a survey by PayPal, retailers in Australia who have a an online store over the past 12 months have since seen a 5% increase in sales while those who did not sell their products over the internet saw a 4% decline in sales over the same period of time. 

With the internet being accessed globally, it is no wonder sales would skyrocket, because one can buy a certain item and need not be in a specific location.
