I read that Australians are very careless when it comes to managing their online passwords, although they are careful with their ATM cards. 

Out of the 1000 Australians surveyed, 87% of respondents did not believe people could guess their passwords. One in four respondents include personal information in their passwords. 

Here is how to secure our passwords. But it's easier said than done! 

1. List down how accounts need a password 

2. Give each account a unique password 

3. Create a password that does not include personal information , with a mixture of letters and numbers 

4. Never share your password with anyone, even family members 

5. Change your password often 

6. Don't save your passwords on your computer or mobile devices
