A young lady, Catarina Migliorini, from Brazil has recently put her virginity up for sale on eBay for US$780K. Think no one would buy but a Japanese man won the bid, fighting off 14 other bidders. 

According to news reports, this was part of a movie deal where a crew would be filming her before and after the deed. The money, said the lady in question, would be put to good use building up her impoverished community. 

Catarina Migliorini doesn't see this as prostituting herself as she is only going to do this one time. Her logic is that taking an amazing photograph once doesn't automatically turn the person into a photographer. Hhmm true also.
