I am not a parent yet but I am impressed by the things that my friends would do for their children, irrespective if they could afford to do it or not.
A child of a friend has shown interest in music and she has so far spent a lot of money getting top music teachers and buying the best instruments for him. I found out that she has also recently bought good yamaha acoustic guitar at musicians friend.
This is quite scary in the sense that I wonder if I can afford all these things if I have a child of my own. I have problems taking care of my own expenses!
