Well, Hari Raya is coming soon. Are you paying a monthly amount for your home loan? Perhaps you can request for a "payment holiday" if it's available in your loan package.
To know if your loan has this "payment holiday" benefit, perhaps it is time to recheck your loan policy, or just call up your bank to ask.
To me, though, if I do not settle my home loan for a month, then I won't "see" my money. I won't feel as though I have the money to spend elsewhere.
To me, it is better for me to service my loan on time, without utilising my Payment Holiday mode.
