"The Beatles: Rock Band" Limited Edition Xbox 360 Console

My friend, Sam, keeps asking me to buy a game console so that we could play games together over wi-fi. She has all the major consoles so no matter which one I buy, we could still play together. I haven't decided which to buy yet and thank God I am no fan of the Beatles!

Look at this Beatles inspired limited edition Xbox 360 console of The Beatles: Rock Bank. At the time of writing, the current bid is US$14,100.00 with another 6.5 days to go. Some people say that with that kind of money, they could buy so many different gadgets and games with money left over for charity. This auction is in support of Doctors Without Borders USA, by the way, but then Beatles fans say that this is a must have limited edition piece. An Xbox 360 skinned with The Beatles, what else could a Beatle fan ask for?

What do you think? Would you pay so much for an Xbox? If so, would you be playing games on it or would this just be a display unit?
