The eBay Mobile Boutique

If, after all these years since the launch of the first eBay website eBay.com, you still have not used eBay before or are even interested to try it out, then you probably never will and eBay knows it. What they are doing to rectify this, is to BRING you the eBay experience. No, you don't have to log on to eBay from your home computer. You probably do not own one, or suffer from technology phobia like my mother.

Yesterday, eBay kicked off this programme with its first ever mobile boutique dubbed “eBay @ 57th St.” in midtown Manhattan occupying 5,500 sq. ft. of space. What can you expect going there? There will be eBay trend experts and eBay personal shoppers to help you make your first purchase from eBay. Of course, since this is the holiday season, which is also THE busiest shopping season of the year, there are many other surprises planned.

If you do not live anywhere near Manhattan, fear not. eBay plans to take the eBay Mobile Boutique to twelve cities across the United States so surely you could visit at least one!
