Hot Stephen Strasburg Autographed Baseball Card Auction On eBay Cancelled

I received news that the owner of the Stephen Strasburg autographed baseball card that was auctioned on eBay has decided to pull it from the auction marketplace when bidding was close to a million dollars; he realized that it was so messy, he couldn't determine if the bids were genuine.

Right now, the owner has already contacted another auctioneer to have them handle this auction which is likely to start this July with a price of US$9000 with no reserve. They are confident that it will fetch a good price but definitely wouldn't hit six figures like it did, phantomly, on eBay.

Stephen Strasburg may be extremely hot right now but he is still a rookie pitcher. How he performs in future baseball tournaments will determine how much the baseball card will worth and if this investment had been a sound one.
