Although I have been a broadband internet user for years now and have asked my sister to switch to dsl service because of its speed and stability, my sister told me that she has no need for super fast internet connection and is happy with what she has right now. Since my sister uses the internet mainly for email, chatting and browsing only, she said that dial-up internet serves her very well.
My sister told me that she has a very good deal in her internet service package. She told me that it's just cheap dial up but then she has no complaints of its services so there's no reason to change. I can certainly understand that. Neither would I change if I subscribed to such a package too.
Some people may think that dial-up internet is of dinosaur age but then when a company like Copper.net is offering unlimited dial-up internet access from only US$9.95 per month for home users, I am tempted to switch my internet service provider too, bearing in mind all the money that I would save monthly in subscription fee alone! I'm paying for a lot of unused bandwidth monthly, anyway.
To me, the most important when it comes to internet service is its reliability and of course, affordability too. I believe the services offered by Copper.net, from dial-up to broadband to webhosting, are up to par. It is great to know that even with their extremely competitive rates, quality is not compromised! And this is what we cannot say for most internet service providers!
