Once in awhile, a new buyer comes along, bidding on an item that has been listed for ages, without getting the desired attention, or someone comes along, and places a large order.
That will really test a Seller's faith. Will the transaction go through smoothly? Is this Buyer genuine? There will be many questions running through a Seller's mind.
But I believe, everyone should be given the chance to close a deal, even if he takes longer than the given time frame, as long as he genuinely has the intention to close the deal. Feedback may not necessarily reflect if a person is a good trading partner.
If a few short months ago I was flooded by joybidders, recently I have been pretty lucky to deal with Buyers who are not only genuine, but also good communicators and friendly.
Apart from all the scams by both Sellers as well as Buyers, joybidders & joybuyers are the bane of e-trading.
Dare we hope that Malaysians are now more educated and understand the mechanics of e-trading? Only time will tell.
