You can open your eBay Store on eBay.com.sg and get a free 1 month trial.
Three tiers of subscription are offered:
Basic Store: S$5/ month (1st 30 DAYS FREE !)
Featured Store: S$25/ month (1st 30 DAYS FREE !)
Anchor Store: S$100/ month (1st 30 DAYS FREE!)
The effective date for applicable fees is 8 August 2006.
I feel that the fees are indeed very reasonable. At S$5 per month, we can get so much more traffic to our Stores.
I wonder when will eBay Malaysia start to offer Stores. And what will the pricing be like? Dare we hope for MYR5 per month?
Assuming eBay Malaysia charges the equivalent of S$5 per month, at today's currency exchange rate, that will be almost MYR12. Let's say we also get one month free trial, that will come up to MYR132 for the first year.
Currently, it is MYR168 per year to open a Store with Lelong.com.my
However, Lelong caters primarily to the local market while eBay Malaysia has the chance to attract foreign buyers.
