AuctionBytes Survey of eBay, Online-Auction Sellers

AuctionBytes is inviting online sellers to complete its survey on e-trading, eBay and otherwise, to check if there is a change in trend in online trading since its first survey in September, 2006. If not mistaken, this survey will be open until 31st March, 2007.

From the slew of comments, it seems many people are disenchanted with eBay already and have taken the bulk of their business to other auction sites or classified boards, despite trading on eBay for five to ten years and garnered tens of thousands of positive feedback.

One thing they were not happy with was the three unjustified listing fee hikes. That just add towards the cost to the Seller and small timers will find it tough going to continue trading on eBay. Maybe they just want the big guys?

I have always planned that should eBay Malaysia start charging without giving us value for money, I too would be retiring from eBay. There are many more places that one can trade on for low to no fee.

Well, we'll just have to wait and see.
