As more and more Sellers become high tech, many of them now require their Buyers to register a third party website to check out their items. This is quite a common practice on eBay International. You can call me ulu but I am not that comfortable with it when we are required to enter our particulars to a 3rd party website that we are not familiar with.
On Lelong's front, many Sellers are doing the same thing too. However, Lelong has clarified that Buyers have the option to choose not to register at a third party website after payment.
If you are a Buyer and your Seller insists on you registering at another website after you have paid, failing which your purchase will not be delivered to you, you can report the matter to Lelong and this particular Sellers listings would be removed and in severe cases, the Seller's account will be closed.
