Earning Customer Trust Online

I recently read an article on internet marketing that says that to earn and build customer trust online, we need a combination of three components; good branding, good design, and good content.

Websites with all three components will create a seemingly safe shopping experience for the shopper, well at least people will feel safer and will have no qualms about disclosing credit card details or delivery information.

This is what we want to create, otherwise, no one will dare to disclose this information and we will not achieve any sales, right?

It is important to reassure our customers that we will NEVER give out or sell their information to third parties, and we have to write this in huge font and place it near the the email sign up option.

For my own
webstore, I have a page dedicated to my Privacy policy. But are there people reading or not? If you are shopping online, make sure you read the privacy policy first. I am sure you don't want any surprises, do you?
