When people keep quiet, it does not mean that the matter has resolved. I logged in to Lelong Forum today and there are still people complaining of not getting any refund from Skyhobby. I thought that Lelong has drawn up a repayment schedule for Skyhobby to meet, even if it is less than the stipulated quantum in the Terms of Service?
After almost two years, isn't it high time that Lelong does something? Granted, Lelong does not think that the company should be held responsible for this. However, they took it upon themselves by allowing Skyhobby to continue to trade in the marketplace even when there is a case on. If this is not a sign of telling Skyhobby that all is well and they can continue with their business, then what is?
It is very disappointing to see that NOTHING can be done. Looks like Skyhobby is invincible. I am disappointed, and you can imagine a victim feeling a thousand times worse than me.
No doubt the sum in question per victim is not that much but when the sum is totaled, it came up to over MYR400,000. When a victim reports to Police, the Police will ask, "Apa itu Lelong?" (What is Lelong?) Time for some education, man!
Every time I think of fraud cases like these, where the victims have no recourse at all, I get pissed off because these fraudsters are giving us genuine traders a bad name.
