Searching & Booking For A Hotel In India

I have the privilege to check out Inasra.com, a site for searching and booking hundreds of hotels in India. I did mock searches to try the site out. No matter which date I search for, it will always give me a three day time frame by default, unless I remember to change the end date manually. This is good so that there is less clicking and repeat searching.

On the outset, the website looks plain and without much information but once the city and dates are selected, there is a wealth of information rendered in the next screen along with all the available hotels where we can then filter and/or sort by pricing of distance.

A feature that I like is that the search results could be expanded to show more results with more detailed information like price and user review.

There is another feature that I think I never noticed before on other hotel booking sites. It is the shopping cart which is prominently displayed on the right panel, where we could easily place our desired bookings in the cart and have the booking value automatically calculated.

While I think Inasra.com is a rather sleek website, I think it caters to a frequent traveler to India better. What it lacks, in my opinion, is a map of India so that a first timer is just as comfortable searching and for a hotel in any city in India with the ability to refer to the map. This would also help travelers who are planning a few stops in India.

Other than this, Inasra.com is a very user-friendly and easy to navigate website and anyone could book his accommodation in India with just a couple of clicks.
