My sister, who bought her house about a year ago is slowing decorating her house and filling it up with furniture and stuff. She told me that she is slowing getting it done so as not to be overwhelmed by the expensive and so as not to make do with something that she doe snot fully like. She would rather wait and save enough and get something she really likes one at a time.
Last week, she bought teak furniture for the patio. She told that although these are luxury items, it feels good to sit and relax in the garden when the weather is good and after a long day at work.
My sister told me that she was at first reluctant to buy teak patio furniture but after seeing how fine they are in her neighbor's garden, she decided that she wanted teak patio furniture for her own house too. She said that her other neighbors are also planning to get them.
How funny it is that people will buy something when they have experienced for themselves how well they are made. This is a powerful form of marketing.
