I received an email proposal recently from someone who asked me to invest into his high yield scheme which he promises a projected 350% profit. Can you believe that?? I have to admit, that figure caused me to blink m eye for an instant. You know, there is a couple who is giving 35% per annum and I keep thinking, "This is going to bust!" However, so far, they are still going strong and still meeting all those dividend cycles.
But for 350% profit? Is that ever possible? I don't think so even if it was George Soros!
I think that this person who sends such a mail to me, and I am sure to other water fishes in the ocean must have thought that we are really stupid. He has grossly undermined our intelligence. And I think that whoever willingly invests into this harebrained scheme really needs to have his head examined! Don't you think so?
This reminds me of an episode a few years ago where a guy I thought I knew quite well invited me to participate in an investment scheme. I turned him down of course. Since that day, he never talked to me anymore. Well, if he wants it that way and can't accept "NO" for an answer, then so be it. It is his loss, isn't it?
