My friend, Paul, who has a home in New York City, told me that he plans to move to the suburbs because he is sick and tired of the hustle and bustle of the city. He has been talking to a couple of New York movers and trying to find one that could give him the best rates.
I think that if I were the one who is moving, my main concern would not be how much I will be billed but how well the movers will take care of my personal effects. When I hire a mover, I am basically entrusting them while my personal belongings and I expect these to be handled with care.
There is no point charging me cheap but not taking care of my items, right? I told Paul as much and he agrees, but the cheapo nature of his still wants to look for one that has the lowest rate!
