The other day, my mom bought an item at a family pharmacy that costs her about RM8.50. She did not ask me first before she went. The problem is that she is not a regular shopper there. I am! So I know that they run sales and promotions through the year. She did not know that. She bought it during a no-sale time!
If she had waited, she would have saved 20%, which is not that much if she was only buying one unit. Since she bought a few, the excess money came up to quite a bit.
I subsequently helped her to buy the same item during promotion and she would ask me every time, "Is it sale price?" I told her of course or I would not buy it at all!
