It's always difficult to think of a perfect birthday gift for my mother. Not because she is fussy, but it’s because her birthday and Mother’s Day are only three weeks apart and I can’t get her the same things for both occasions, right?
If you have read my earlier post, my sister suggested that I get a gift basket for her birthday. Well, I did not. I gave her cash instead and took her out to dinner. Cash, although not as meaningful, is the most practical gift.
On Mother’s Day, though, I plan to buy a gourmet gift basket. There are many kinds of gourmet gift baskets so I will have to check out the most suitable one for her.
