MIRC, the ICT Resource Centre of MCA, has been rather successful in holding gatherings and meets to empower people with knowledge on how to leverage eBay and other online market places to create a revenue stream working from home and at your own pace.
So far, they have visited quite a few major cities in Peninsular Malaysia and have received tremendous support from the public who would like to enrich themselves with knowledge. Times may be bad but for online sales, we understand that this is an almost recession proof business.
How true this is, we have yet to test but I see that it is no loss to us sellers if we do not sell as well as we used to if there is a slump in online sales since cost is minimal.
