There was an email circulating recently regarding "Jualan Hebat Lelong" or Lelong Mega Sale. While it is uncertain if it managed to bait anyone into buying their range of discounted mobile devices, I think that whoever received such an email and wanted to buy those items should double confirm with Lelong to check if they did send such an email to certain members.
One thing about the email is that they listed their URL as lelong.com.my. Everyone should know that the real Lelong homepage has a .my extension. MY is for Malaysia, that’s easy to remember.
Anyway, when it comes to buying things that are exceptionally cheap, way below market price, I think we should be all the more careful. Always tell yourself, if you buy something online and somehow you did not receive the item, or the item is not as described, or the item has been damaged in transit, would you mind losing that amount of money that you spent on your purchase?
