Going The Extra Mile

The other day, I made a sale and there was a problem with shipping. I was a little worried as it was an international shipping and any problem with delivery would bounce the package back to me. This is not a problem but it would take months to reach me again!

I tracked down the package that night and got the issue rectified. The buyer thanked me for going the extra mile. I was very happy because he appreciated my effort.

However, I believe that a transaction is not concluded until my Buyer tells me that he/she has received the item and is happy with the purchase. Of course, if he/she is not happy, I could not do anything much but a good transaction is when both parties are satisfied with how it went. I am now still waiting to hear from my Buyer. Ish... international shipping sure takes ages, eh?
