The other day, I was at an eye care fair at a shopping mall and there was a booth with a demonstration on Lasik surgery of the eyes. I have to say that I have heard of good things about Lasik surgery and how life changing it could be and on the other hand, I have also heard of negative accounts of Lasik surgery and in this case, it was also "life changing".
At the eye care fair, I had the chance to see what is done during Lasik surgery by watching slides and also ask questions. I do not have plans to go for Lasik anytime soon but I have to admit that when my sister told me that her lady boss was going for Boston Lasik surgery and I had my reservations.
After checking out the Lasik demonstration, though, and doing extensive research reading up on Lasik on the website of reputable Lasik surgeons, my reservations have lessen and I think that if she wants to do it and believes that it would be helpful to her, she should go for it.
As for me, personally, I am someone who would not do anything unless it’s absolutely necessary and to me, a Lasik is not necessary at this point yet.
