International Relocation Headache

My friend, Neil in Japan, is relieved to know that he has escaped the pink slip again. You know, the economy is so weak that one could hardly tell if going to work one day like usual would be the last day at the office.

The funny thing is that Neil is relieved not because he gets to keep his job while his office mates are forced to leave one by one. He is more afraid of having to move again than to look for a new job. Neil has decided to return to the United States where his family is, should he get retrenched but the thought of an international relocation is not as appealing as it once was when he decided to accept the posting in Japan.

From what I understand, Neil had a horrendous experience, with some of his items broken, or worst, misplaced all together. Neil told me that he would not be surprised if one of his boxes suddenly turns up at his doorstep one day!

I guess the problems faced by Neil was because he did not engage a company that is experienced as Boston Moving Company, a company that would take the best care whether they are moving home furniture, office equipment or even priceless pieces of fine art.
