Lelong has just launched a new programme for the benefit of both buyers and sellers of the marketplace, something similar like eBay's Buyer Protection Program. Although I don't have the chance yet to try it out, I think this is a positive step for Lelong to take to bring back trust to the marketplace which has been lost in the past couple of years where scam online has become increasingly rampant.
As a seller on Lelong, though I have not be active anymore because of other commitments, I welcome this move by Lelong to try their best to make the marketplace a safer place for all parties. When trust is lost, it is not easy to gain back. Hopefully, people will see that it's now a lot safer to shop on Lelong than before.
