I have many friends, and even relatives, who are envious that I could work from home. It's not a bed of roses but at least I enjoy the time flexibility that most employed people are not able to.
Many have told me that "now" is not the right time to branch out on their own and they have to wait for such an such a year or after this or that event in their lives before they are able to move on. But seriously, is there ever a "right" time? I don't think so.
I remember my sister telling me that her employer was very encouraging when she wanted to purchase a house. My sister was afraid that she would not be able to cope with the additional financial commitment and she should wait till after this or that. The employer told her to just go ahead and buy. Things are working fine now, even though she has a 30-year loan on the house, but if she didn't start paying off her loan then, when would she?
In life, sometimes we shouldn't think too much and go with the flow. Don't you think so too?
