127 SMEs On Track To £1m Turnover On eBay in 2010

eBay UK has released data that 127 companies, small and medium enterprises as well as start ups, are on track to hit £1m in sales turnover trading on eBay by the end of 2010. According to eBay, seven of these companies have only started their eBay businesses this year while eleven out of these 127 companies are increasing their turnover by more than 300% annually. This is an increase from 66 in 2009.

At a time when the economy is sluggish and a lot of businesses are forced to fold, news like this is certainly encouraging. Also, some sellers are no longer comfortable plying their trade on the eBay marketplace but as you can see, eBay is still working so well for so many businesses, be they one man shows or family enterprises or even large corporations that are seeking an online presence in a reputable marketplace with established traffic.
