I read that one of the most difficult decisions that one has to make in life is the choosing of a career path. I thought that it is because of our young age when we are about to enter college that causes the confusion because most of us do not know yet what we are seeking in life.
However, I have a friend who has just completed his compulsory military service and even though he is older than high school leavers, he is still unable to decide on a career path. He is not alone. There are some who would like to continue staying on with the Military but a lot of them leave, unprepared.
For U.S. Military personnel, one of their benefits is education. There are many online military degrees available to them and some schools offer a discount on tuition fees too, not only to those who are on active duty but also veterans.
