eBay France, that is running a competition for eBay users in France to win a free stay at a "home", has made changes to the rules after the company was accused of being biased against gays and lesbians. eBay France has at first stated that this competition is open to "couples of different genders" to try to get as many people to participate in the competition so as to represent better people who use eBay.
eBay France has said that discrimination against gay and lesbian couples never crossed their mind and that they certainly never had that intention. It's great to see that eBay France has listened to the feedback and has taken steps to clarify their competition rules and now states that this contest is practically open to everyone irrespective of gender or sexual orientation, though they did say earlier that the “home” in question only has one bedroom.
