Just read a very interesting article about an ice cream seller in China who bought a van for RM15,000 with cash... not in big dollar notes but in 1 Yuan notes! Well, mostly 1 Yuan, some less. 

The story is that he is an ice cream seller, selling ice cream for less than 1 Yuan for the past many years, and he had never been to the bank before. 

Now that he had saved up enough money for his purchase of a van, he went to the bank with all his 1 Yuan notes and he was rejected and so he had no choice but to take the money to the car dealer directly. 

And the poor staff at the dealership took more than five hours to count out the notes!
