A friend recently invited me to be a member of her social group. Actually, she is not the first to ask. I think people think I have plenty of time to spare. The reason I had been declining all along is because I just cannot find time for the many activities of these societies. 

I wonder how people can commit so much time to their associations and societies. As for me, I keep telling myself that one day, I would do it. Maybe after I retire? 

For now, I am happy enough collecting die struck lapel pins. I love collecting stuff, by the way. I am a collector.
