My sister told me that she will be having an off day on Thanksgiving Day like everyone else in the United States. The difference is that since she does not celebrate Thanksgiving Day in a big way, she will be well rested to queue up on the dark morning of Black Friday to take advantage of doorbuster deals.
Doorbuster events could be dangerous if one is not careful. One could easily be trampled and it has happened before but there is no denying the excitement and euphoria of getting hold of an amazing deal, especially those expensive top of the line consumer electronic products.
You know, while this tradition of a Black Friday sale and the doorbuster deals that attract the crazy shopping crowd to a store like bees to honey, are for people who would like to fulfill their Christmas gift list, many people now grab these cheap deals and then resell them online for a profit. I think that's most enterprising of them!
