My friends think that just because I work for myself, hence do not have to face office politics, I lead a rather stress-free work life. Well, give me office politics anytime over the worry of whether I am working hard enough to earn enough money for the month to cover the bills, household expenses, allowances for parents, medical bills, pets and my own pocket money.
My friends won’t believe me, of course, but they should look at how much I spent on acne treatment since I started going it alone. LOL Arghh all the stress is not doing my complexion any good, I tell you! However, being your own boss, working for yourself, being answerable to yourself only, reaping the rewards and achieving what others say is impossible could be extremely rewarding.
