Scammers Want Anything

If you think that scammers, particularly Nigerian scammers ware only after expensive goods listed on online marketplaces especially on eBay, then you are wrong. Yes, I have to admit that when I was selling electronics and mobile devices, most of the initial correspondence and bids were from people trying to get ahold of MY product without having to pay and asking me to ship them to Nigeria, they are basically after anything that has a high value to it. Heck, I think that if they saw the listing of the seven-legged spider art, they would want that as well.

A lady almost lost her wedding dress after sending it out to a Nigerian address and later realized that the money that was supposed to have been credited to her PayPal account was not a legitimate PayPal payment received notification. This scam victim managed to stop her package at customs from being delivered to Nigeria but still had to pay for shipping which costs her over $80.

So, as long as you are selling something expensive (this wedding dress was priced at $570), you have to be extra vigilant.
