eBay Recycles Your Old Electronic Devices

eBay has a new Green initiative where you could recycle your old electronic devices for free, or receive a small amount of money for it. What you have to do, if you have any old devices sitting around at home, is to send in a description to eBay via their Instant Sale website and receive an almost instant quote for the item.

You will then have to ship the item to eBay, if you agree with the price, of course, and then eBay will credit the amount, probably inclusive of shipping, to your PayPal account. If, on the other hand, your electronic device doesn't worth anything, eBay will still want your item. If you still would like to recycle it via eBay, you will be sent a free postage-paid envelope which you could send in your item with at no cost to you.

I caution that if you have any old electronic device, you should check out the market first because eBay may not offer you the highest price. There are many companies out there collecting old consumer electronic devices. Also, perhaps you would want to consider keeping it. Judging from how trends go, perhaps your antique electronic device could be worth a whole lot more in the future than what you are getting today.
